1) England vs San Marino (Euro 2016 Qualifier, 7:45PM)
We start with our own boys at Wembley as tonight we take on high flying San Marino in what should be another routine victory against these boys. We always seem to draw San Marino in our groups these days and it offers a little opportunity to get some goals and of course get 3 points on the board. But we won’t be backing handicaps or anything like that here. This could be anything from 4-0 to 12-0 and backing a game with that kind of unpredictability really doesn’t end well. So instead we turn our attention to corners, something England regularly deliver here at Wembley. In their last 10 games here England have received an average of 9.3 corners per game and in total there have been an average of 12.2 corners per game over the same period. But this isn’t any normal game, this is San Marino folks and shots will be flying off at a rate of knots tonight. In our 5-0 win over San Marino here in the World Cup qualifiers back in 2012 England won the corner count 17-0 and on our visit to San Marino when we collected an 0-8 win in the reverse leg, England won the corner count 1-15. In their last 5 away games across Europe, San Marino have conceded a total of 68 corners, an average of 13.8 per game and have achieved a total of 0 corners themselves! It’s just all about the corners tonight folks, simple as that!

2) Halmia vs Oddevold (Swedish Division 1, 6PM)
We’re heading over to Sweden now as relegation threatened Halmia take on an Oddevold side who’s season is now pretty much over. The hosts sit 4 points clear of the drop with 4 points remaining and a win this evening could near enough secure their safety in Division 1. They’ve actually been in decent form as of late though and have lost just 3 of their last 10 matches, which might not seem brilliant but it is when you consider these 3 losses came against 1st, 3rd and 4th in the league. A decent 0-2 win away from home against bottom of the league Uddevalla last time out means they have a real shot at surviving the drop this season and those chances are boosted by the fact that 3 of their remaining 4 games in the league are on home soil. They also have a huge game coming up in November as they take on the mighty Malmo in the 2nd round of the Svenska Cupen, but by this point their league campaign will have reached it’s end, so it acts as no distraction. Oddevold sit 5th in the league but are 10 points adrift of promotion and 11 points clear of the drop. With only 12 more points to play for it would be a near on miracle if Oddevold did anything but survive in this league this year, especially when you consider their away from and that 3 of their 4 remaining games are on the road. Oddevold have collected 10 points from a possible 30 on their travels this season and are now without a win in 7 consecutive away games, drawing 3 and losing 4 of those. In their last 3 away games they have drawn with 12th placed Trollhattan, lost against 8th placed Qviding and lost against 10th placed Trelleborg, none of which are great results really. Against 11th placed Halmia at a ground they have never previously won at, I don’t see how Oddevold can possibly collect the points this evening.

3) Slovenia vs Switzerland (Euro 2016 Qualifier, 7:45PM)
I really think Switzerland are mis-priced tonight if I’m honest and I think they have a very decent chance of getting something out of this game. Their form sheet might not look too great, but when you consider that they have lost only 4 of their last 15 games, against Argentina, England, France and Korea, only 1 of those is a real shock. Following their 0-2 loss at home to England in their opening fixture, Switzerland will be looking to get some points on the board this evening and they face a Slovenian side who they beat twice during their qualification campaign for the World Cup having won 0-2 here and 1-0 at home. Slovenia had a very disappointing result in their opening qualification game in Group E having lost to Estonia and they have now lost 4 consecutive internationals without scoring a single goal either. Against Uruguay and Argentina you would of course expect them to lose but against Algeria and Estonia, you would at least expect this side to compete! Pektovic has some decent players in this Switzerland side and in this kind of group they have a huge chance of qualifying but to do that they need to win games like this and I really don’t see how they don’t come away with at least a point this evening.
